Antique Imperial German Prussian m1816 Infantry Officer Sword Fichte Solingen NR (NO RESERVE, this sword will sell to the highest bidder!)
Excellent Condition. It is complete with the scabbard.
Model 1816 made by F. Fichte in Solingen, Germany.
The double fullered blade is almost 32" inches long  and 3/4" inches wide with an over all length of 38" inches.
One side of the blade is marked "F. Fichte" and "Solingen". The blade has a very nice ethching on both sides.
The folding guard folds down on one side only and is marked 1 2 8
The scabbard is almost 33" inches long, dented, bent,  and scratched up pretty good.
The wire around the grip has started to loosen, it is still intact, but not firm in place.
