This listing is for a beautiful German regulator wall clock with an intricate face and pendulum. Our client purchased it in Germany in the 1970s. The movement is stamped "Deutsches Reichs-Patent No. 55006 72797." Based on our online research, this would indicate the clock was made by Heinrich Kielmann in the 1890s. The clock is not currently running and may need lubrication, adjustment, or possibly repair. It's in good cosmetic condition overall with some scuffs, scratches, chips and wear. A few trim pieces are detached, and a few other pieces are missing. A key is not included. Please see the photos below to see everything that is included, and contact us with any questions before bidding. We have a low opening bid and no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
Approximate measurements: 14.75" wide; 39.5" long (including decorative end pieces); 7.5" deep
From the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors:
"the German Patent-Nr. 55006 was registered in May 1890 for Heinrich Kielmann in Ruhrort. Kielmann was an inventor for several clock-patents (Nr. 55006 describes a detail on the pendulum) and in 1890-95 he offered movements for viennas in advertisments."
