This listing is for a large set of Gorham sterling silver flatware in the Etruscan "Greek Key" pattern. Our seller's parents received it as a wedding gift in 1933. The set set has 66 pieces and it's mostly a service for eight, although there are three pieces missing that we are aware of. All but three of the pieces have a monogram of the initials "MW" and the set has a total weight of approximately 1751.5 grams, not counting the knives which have stainless steel blades. The flatware comes in a Naken anti-tarnish silverware chest with fine dovetail construction. The chest has scuffs and wear as shown. If requested by the winning bidder, the pieces can be shipped without the chest to save on shipping costs (the pieces will then have to be wrapped more carefully). They range from about 4.25" to 9.5" in length. Please see the photos below to see everything that is included, and contact us with any questions before bidding. We have a low opening bid and no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
