1965 Lyndon Johnson LBJ Inaugural Gala Gown Dress Signed Program Dinner Menu Lot

This listing is for a fantastic collection of items from the 1965 Lyndon B. Johnson Inaugural Gala. These items have been safely stored in a closet since 1965 by the original owner and attendee of the gala. There are two Official Inaugural Programs, 2 Inauguration Dinner Menus, 3 foldout programs for the Inaugural Gala, and a gorgeous blue gown that was worn to the Gala by the seller. One of the entertainment programs has been signed on the inside, but we cannot determine whose signature it is. The gown is made of silk and worsted wool, and comes with a blousson. Both pieces have wonderful ornate beadwork. The gown has some slight discoloration under the arms and along the lower hem from dancing at the gala.
