This listing is for an antique James Stott pocket watch. The serial number on the movement is 14196 and the hands appear to be made of gold. Our research led to a watchmaker named James Thomas Stott of Rothbury but we weren't able to find any specific dates. The rampant lion marks in the case lead us to believe it's sterling silver. The watch is in good cosmetic condition with some scuffs on the body, a tiny chip at the bottom of the face, and the minute hand is bent a bit. The crystal has moderate scuffs but appears to be free of chips and cracks. The watch doesn't have a key so we were unable to wind it. For this reason, it's being sold strictly as-is. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
