Dear Sir:
I am sorry to inform you that I have agreed to let Topps Gum use my picture for 1953. According to their agreement this would not prevent me from signing with any other concern.
Not being able to locate my Bowman Gum Contract and due to all the confusion of last year I wasn't aware that I was violating my Bowman contract. Had I been aware of this I would have refused to sign with Topps as I've been more than pleased with your contracts.
Sincerely yours,
Joseph H. Astroth
