Vintage Antique German Wall Clock W/ Pendulum Maier NR
This listing is for an antique German wall clock with pendulum. According to research done by the seller, it was most likely made in the 1890s by Gebruder Maier (Maier Brothers)
UhrenFabrik in Villingen. This is the first clock the seller ever owned, and it was given to her in 1962 by a man who later became a 4-star general in the US Army. The clock measures approximately 14" inches wide, 26" inches long, and 7" inches deep. Its face is 5 3/4" inches in diameter and has a white, creamy finish with Roman numerals and intricate hands. The back of the movement is stamped with what appears to be "GMb" inside a kind of star shape and below that is the number 21082. The pendulum has on the front "R=A" with an arrow going down between the letters. We attempted to wind the clock but it already appeared wound and we did not want to risk damaging it. Therefore, we are selling the clock as-is. It's in very good cosmetic condition with minor scuffs, and a few small cracks, and some dings around the back of the movement. It appears that a small piece of trim is missing from the very bottom, and a piece may also be missing from the very top. This listing has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
