6 Original 1950s Frank Wallace Color Woodblock Prints

This listing is for a set of six original woodblock prints by the artist Frank King Wallace (1918-2003) of Greensboro, Vermont. The prints are being sold by a close personal friend of Wallace who inherited them after his death. They're all signed and most are dated from the early 1950s. The prints are in good condition overall with light scuffs and minor to moderate wear on the edges including creases, discoloration, and a few small tears. Some information on the artist:
Wallace was a political radical and was blacklisted in the mid 1950s and left the country for a number of years. He lived in Europe, studying and spending time with well known contemporary artists such as Demetrius Galanis. He sold pieces to a number of high society collectors throughout the world, including Nelson A. Rockefeller and Hazel Guggenheim McKinley. His work is in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, as well as in Paris and Vienna.
