Global Garage Sale opens in Winooski

Global Garage Sale has opened in Winooski. Owners Erik Holcomb and Peter Becker have seven years of combined experience buying and selling items on eBay. Now they are offering their expertise as brokers to individuals who wish to sell their "stuff" in the global marketplace.

Among the more interesting items sold was a Wheelman bicycle, a large floor loom made of solid cherry, African import items, a cart for a handicapped canine, and a diamond engagement ring. In the future, Holcomb and Becker hope to market the work of Vermont artisans.
